Attorney Profile

Jim graduated first in his class from Rutgers School of Law at Camden in 1996.  Jim served on the school's law review for two years, as a Staff Member during his second year and a State Constitutional Law Editor during his third year.  Also during his third year of law school, Jim served as a Judicial Intern for The Honorable Dolores K. Sloviter, who was Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from the University of Colorado at Denver in 1990.

Before earning his B.S., Jim served in the U.S. Army as a Legal Specialist at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, which was just outside of Denver in Aurora, Colorado.   Fitzimons has since been transformed into the University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus.

Throughout his legal career, Jim has focused his practice on labor and employment law, first as an Associate and then Counsel in the Labor & Employment Practice Group of Drinker Biddle & Reath's Philadelphia offices, and thereafter in his current practice.

Before law school, Jim worked for Navistar Financial Corporation (formerly International Harvester Credit Corporation), where he was promoted through various positions from Assistant Finance Sales Representative to Collection Supervisor.  While with Navistar Financial, in addition to collection and supervisory duties, Jim managed bankruptcy files for the Northeast Region and in doing so developed relationships with outside counsel, assigned files, and oversaw legal budgeting and billing.

Jim's pre-law school business experiences provided him with, among other benefits, an acute appreciation for the importance of providing solution-focused, business-sensitive, efficient and cost-effective legal services.
